What is the Archangel Fund?

The Archangel Fund for Collier County Charities is the steward of monies raised by Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church.  These monies are distributed entirely to Collier County Charities. They are not used to support Trinity or its programs.

How does the Archangel Fund decide on the distribution of funds?

All funds raised by the Art of Giving are distributed to deserving Collier County charities through a Grant Commission at Trinity-by-the-Cove that reviews grant requests and and decides which grant requests will be funded by a grant from the Archangel Fund. The Grant Commission’s vetting process for charitable grants is one of the most thorough and selective to be found.  A charity not only must complete a detailed application for its grant, it must also undergo an extensive site visit from the Grant Commission to confirm the charity’s needs and how the grant will be used.  The Grant Commission also does follow up work to determine how grants given in a prior year were used.
